“I have thousands of students all over the world who depend upon me for teaching on fitness, wellness and spirituality. However, I have to confess that there’s one person who has inspired me tremendously in the past one year and it is none other than Vidyut Jammwal.
It happened during the sets of IB71 when we worked together. Even if we were on sets at 3am, he wouldn’t be resting and just lying down on the couch during breaks.
He would be busy stretching, skipping, cycling or some other physical activity.
Also, he’s always alert physically and mentally. Whatever I know of yoga and health, I can say that Vidyut is just fabulous.
Vidyut broadened my perspective about fitness and how fit can one be beyond the age of 40 and 50. Apart from being a great human being, what stands out for Vidyut is his mental clarity and his perfect fitness level. This is something we all should aspire for to begin with. The reason I am sharing all this is because for anyone who wants to be fit and wants to achieve perfection at that level, it is important to have an idol and in this case, Vidyut is indeed the one. I am proud and happy that I am still learning. Despite having thousands of students all over the globe like Russia, China, Mexico and other places, I can say that Vidyut is my fitness guru. He inspires. We are now set to work together in our next film Crackkk.”

On the work front, apart from Crackkk, Bijay also has Bade Miyan Chote Miyan alongside Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff which people are eagerly waiting for. “Well, I believe that as an artiste, you only get success when your work is spoken about after it is seen. There has to be some kind of everlasting impression that remains with the viewers after they have seen the work. As actors, we are supposed to enact in such a way that takes our viewers into our world, the world that we have created on-screen. This scope is not possible anywhere and everywhere. As an actor, I have always relied heavily on my gut feeling and that’s why, whenever I get approached for projects, I look at matching this criteria. Of course, you won’t get it right every time. But, working actively on this approach has helped me get success more often than not and I am grateful to God, and my fans for their love. To cut things short, I would rather be known for a handful of projects where I have done my best instead of being spoken about in multiple projects where I was just about par or below average. I believe in quality ahead of quantity.”

November 6, 2023: Road Safety Month is organised in November annually to promote awareness of road safety measures and rules. After a successful association with the Mumbai Traffic Police early this year, &TV has now partnered with the Uttar Pradesh Police for their Road Safety Awareness Month campaign starting 1st November 2023. &TV’s immensely popular and beloved Bhabhis, Angoori (Shubhangi Atre) and Anita (Vidisha Srivastava) and Bhaiyas Vibuti (Aasif Sheikh) and Manmohan Tiwari (Rohitashv Gour) will reinforce numerous road safety measures like wearing helmets, seatbelts, no drinking, and driving, among others. The lead cast kicked off the public awareness drive, urging people in Uttar Pradesh to follow the rules in their unique style.

As the month dedicated to road safety unfolds, DGP UP Police, Mr Vijay Kumar, articulated a vision shared by the state’s leadership. “Ensuring our roads are safe is more than a policy; it’s a promise from the government to its people,” he asserts. “Our alliance with &TV is a spirited step toward this pledge. We are channeling the influence of their beloved characters to echo the importance of road safety into the lives of our citizens, for their own protection and the welfare of all.”

In harmonious accord, Dr B.D. Paulson, at the helm of Traffic and Road Safety in Uttar Pradesh, emphasizes the gravity of the issue. “Elevating road safety to a cause célèbre is a crusade for us,” he declares. “By joining forces with &TV, we’re breaking new ground. Our innovative campaign, ‘Aapka Uttar Pradesh, Surakshit Pradesh,’ sees the channel’s stars taking on a new role: champions of a drive towards safer roads.
