    गावातील मुलं शिक्षण किंवा नोकरीच्या निमित्ताने शहराकडे वळल्यानंतर तिकडचीच होतात. त्यांचे आई-वडील मात्र गावातच राहून कष्ट करत राहतात. गावाकडे येऊन शेतीकडे लक्ष द्यावं, असं प्रत्येक आई-वडिलांना वाटतं. मात्र, शहराच्या झगमगाटात हरवलेली तरुणाई गावाचं मन जाणून घेण्यात अपयशी ठरते. या कथानकातून ‘गाव बोलावतो’ ग्रामीण भागातील प्रश्न आणि समस्यांवर भाष्य करतो.
